FridayForge ("we", "us") sells Crestron Home drivers at forgedbyfriday.com. This page explains what information we collect, why, and who else sees it. We do not sell your information and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, company, email address and a password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody at FridayForge can read it.
- Jobs and licences: the job names you create, the Processor ID of each Crestron processor you register, the drivers you have licensed and when you moved them.
- Licence checks: when the License Manager on your processor checks in, we record the Processor ID, the time, and which FridayForge drivers it reports.
- Support reports: if you run the debug report in the License Manager, it sends diagnostic text to us. We use it only to help you with support, and we delete reports after 60 days.
- Payments: payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers. We keep the receipt details Stripe gives us, such as what was bought, the amount and the date.
- Messages: if you use the chat assistant or the Request a driver form, we keep what you type and the name and email you give, so we can reply. Chats are deleted after 90 days.
How we use it
- To create your account, issue and check licences, and show you your jobs.
- To email you about your account: receipts, password resets, team invites, licence moves and alerts that a job looks offline (you can turn offline alerts off on each job).
- To answer support questions and improve the drivers.
Who else handles your information
We use these services to run the site. Each receives only what it needs to do its part.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Render hosts the website and database.
- Our email provider delivers the emails we send you.
- Anthropic provides the Claude AI model behind the chat assistant. Your chat messages are sent to it to produce a reply. Do not put passwords or payment details in chat.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. It is needed for the site to work, so there is no cookie banner. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping your information
We keep account and licence records for as long as your account exists and as long as we need them for accounting and support. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we will remove it except for records we are required to keep, such as payment records.
Security
Passwords are hashed, the site uses HTTPS, and licence keys are digitally signed. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Your choices
Write to Service@forgedbyfriday.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
Children
This site is for professionals and is not directed at children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
